When recording with the HUI notes are dropped. Has anyone had this problem?

What do you mean "notes are dropped?"

By dropping notes, I mean, as you playing a note progression various notes played are not recorded.
If you take the HUI offline all notes played are recorded.
If you take the HUI offline all notes played are recorded.

This is probably something you've figured out from the second it happened, but it sounds an awfully lot like a midi problem. You say that notes drop out? You mean midi notes coming back from your computer to the sound source, right? Have you tried disconnecting the HUI from the midi interface, and then playing back the sequence? If that fixes the problem, then it sounds like you're running out of midi channels. Are you using a midi thru box, or a multiport interface?
