Reason 4!

Just got Reason 4! Can't wait to dig into it tonight! I did the Beta, but it will be nice to rock out the final version now! Anybody else get it yet?

There are also upgrade prices and academic prices (obviously both of which are lower than that)

I'm trying to get used to writing music entirely in Reason 4 with the mouse only, so I can just take my Macbook Pro around and be capable of writing anytime, anywhere. No MIDI controller needed. Ahhh, just imagine.
It's a pain, but eventually one can get very speedy with this method.

My other goal is to eliminate the need for any other DAW and produce entirely with Reason from start to finish, mainly to be conservative with hard drive space. A typical Force Effect song like The Violent Truth (available on iTunes) takes up about 30 GBs if everything is rendered out individually into their own WAVs (The Violent Truth has a crap ton of original audio files). It'd be unnecessary, if I knew Reason more thoroughly. A Reason song file is like... 300k.
That DVD teaches you how to produce everything from start to finish entirely in Reason. I recommend checking it out. Can't wait to devour it.
