RODE NT45-O Omni Capsule, for that "In the Room" Sound If you want that "being in the room with the music" feeling in your recordings, the way to achieve that is with an omnidirectional mic. If you already have a RODE NT6, NT4, NT5, NT5-S, or NT55 cardioid mic and don't want to spring for another mic, RODE offers the NT45-O capsule as an alternative, which will work with the aforementioned RODE mics. The RODE NT45 capsules offer a selection of frequency responses and polar patterns in a convenient and easy to use interchangeable format. The capsules are designed for studio recording, live sound reinforcement, and any application where sound quality and mounting flexibility are required. Designed and manufactured in Australia, the NT45-O capsule offers high SPL capabilities with low distortion and noise.
