The DeadCat VMP windscreen does cut down on wind noise, compared to only using the windscreen that comes with the VideoMic Pro, but I still got a lot of wind noise in light winds because the windscree... read more [+]n does not cover the switches on the back of the microphone. I was able to eliminate wind noise by covering the switches with a fleece glove. The DeadCat VMP windscreen could be greatly improved by simply making it a little longer to cover the switches. close [-]
