From Our Research Team:Put a Mic on Your Amps the Easy Way!The Audix CabGrabber is a must-have for both the studio and the stage. This simple device lets you conveniently mike a guitar amplifier or cabinet without the use of a bulky mic stand. Instead, the CabGrabber clamps directly onto an amp to hold a microphone firmly and securely in place. It's lightweight and compact enough to toss into your gig bag, though it's also strong enough to hold even heavy large diaphragm condensers. Ultimately, Audix takes the art of amp-miking to a new level of convenience with the cleverly designed and affordably priced CabGrabber.Audix CabGrabber at a Glance:
Set up in moments The Audix CabGrabber sets a new standard of convenience when it comes to miking guitar amps and cabinets. It clamps onto the sides or top of all guitar amps ranging from eight to 14 inches in depth, and its tubular arm can rotate 180 degrees so you can position the mic anywhere you want. The CabGrabber is compatible with every standard mic clip and works equally as well on cabinets with a flat surface or a recessed edge. Take it anywhere When you're bringing gear into a gig or setting up in the studio, mic stands tend to be those strangely-shaped extras that require one last trip to haul out. Then, positioning the stands at the perfect height inevitably takes turning a bunch of different knobs and twists. Plus, if you should ever want to move the amp somewhere else last minute, you have to go through that whole process of finding the "sweet spot" one more time. The CabGrabber solves all of these problems. Not only is it light and compact enough to fit into a gig bag or a backpack, it also clamps securely onto the guitar amp so wherever you move it, it moves too. Audix CabGrabber Features:
The Audix CabGrabber offers the ultimate in amp-miking convenience!

This is a great product that can help you save floor space on stage. the idea is very good and the CabGrabber does a good job of clamping to your speaker cabinet or combo amp to hold you mic. All in all, a very good product that is far better than using a mic stand. close [-]

This piece works really well and eliminates a stand on stage making more room and less clutter.
