Behringer Updates DeepMind 12 Firmware to v1.0.4

Behringer has released a firmware update for the DeepMind 12 polysynth. The new version 1.0.4 firmware includes both new features and bug fixes:

New Features

  • Added OSC1 Fine, OSC2 Fine and OSC1+2 Fine tune modulation matrix destinations.
  • Allow simultaneous editing of multiple envelopes by pressing more than one envelope select switch together.
  • Hold POLY Edit and move Unison Detune to access shortcut to set POLY mode.

Addressed Issues

  • WiFi module update is now skipped if already at the latest version.
  • Fixed occasional distortion from effects DSP when switching away from a patch containing a RotarySpeaker effect.
  • Fixed stuck note when toggling hold on and off and holding keys.
  • Fixed notes retriggered on some patch changes when switching from arp on and hold on to arp off.
  • Fixed Poly Chord – Triggering arpeggiated poly chords with a duplicate root note within used to result in the note failing to trigger.
  • App is now updated when default program is recalled on the synth.
  • Portamento EXP mode not exponential.
  • Fixed issue where detail view of FX would not return to FX overview if the viewed effect is removed via the app.
  • Fixed Arp slowdown which could occur at maximum tempo & minimum clock divisor when also sending/receiving large amounts of MIDI controller data.

  • Fixed LCD flicker when receiving sysex dumps from the preset blender.
  • Fixed modulation routings None/NoteNumber/PitchBend to VCA Pan.

  • Fixed modulation routing: Note Number to Pan.

The new firmware is available free to all registered owners.
