Digital orchestrators rejoice: the Vienna Symphonic Library has a major set of upgrades on its hands! This series expands on the previous libraries and offers embedded intelligent Performance Algorithms in an easy-to-use VST/AU plug-in to orchestrate an inconceivably vast array of samples. For the first time, hundreds of articulations can be combined in one Preset and on a single MIDI track. Vienna's proprietary Performance Detection analyzes intervals, repeated notes, patterns, and even speed in real time and automatically summons the appropriate articulation or nuance.

Orchestral Strings I
The largest ensemble recorded at the VSL Silent Stage was the violin section. The 14 violinists are headed by Christian Eisenberger, who in his esteemed international concert work has collaborated with artists and conductors such as Claudio Abbado, Martha Argerich, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Herbert von Karajan, Gidon Kremer, Kent Nagano, Roger Norrington, Murray Perahia, Andras Schiff, Georg Solti, and many others. The ensemble of 10 violas is headed by Anett Homoki who is a member of the Vienna Chamber Philharmony as well as the Volksoper Vienna.
