Best ever !!

I saw a review of this speaker swapped into a fender champ. I put mine in a Peavey 6505 cab powered by a Joyo Zombie. No other amp i have sounds half as good. Not the fender champ 50 or the Peavey with 2x10's. The speaker i ordered from Sweetwater is destined for an old Rage 158. I'm expecting it to equal a Bandit 1x12. Yeah, i'll buy another one for another 8 in. cab very soon...

Great Upgrade Speakers !

I bought two of these to replace the speakers in my Marshall AS50D Acoustic amp.
They sound a 1000 x's better than the weak ones I took out... I highly recommend
these speakers and as always Sweetwater and my guy Ben Delivered these fast to me.
As you can see in the pic below, These are massive.. Compared to the right one(stock)
New one on the left..

Replacment for home stereo speakers

I have some B&W DM110 that I used for many years to mix sound for film and video. Great speakers, but built in 1984. I blew a speaker and ordered the Celestion 8" PA speakers (TF0818). The specs seemed about right and the price as well. Replacement woofers for the B&Ws are expensive (more expensive to ship), and already old. With some mods to the cabinets, I mounted a Celestion and tested it side by side against the DM110 original 8" woofer.
Response on the PA speakers was a bit higher across the range and the volume had to go down on that side for the test.
The bass response seemed less from the Celestion.
Overall good enough.
I reinforced the B&W cabinets to support the heavier Celestions and the screws that would be very close to the speaker opening, and mounted the speakers.
After a little breakin, bass response improved significantly.
My conclusion is that the Celestions make an excellent replacement speaker for high end stereo speakers.They have a flatter response, making them more like studio monitors, so if you're looking for enhanced bass, this is not the solution for you unless you want to mod some crossover caps.

Very nice speaker the foam in the hole is killing it I removed it tho other then that very good

Great Upgrade!

I bought the Fender Champion 20 and although I really liked the factory speaker, it was lacking on the low to mid range. This speaker was the answer. The warmth and full sound it has now, is that of a much bigger amp. If you're on the fence about it, I wouldn't hesitate any longer. You'll be pleased with the purchase.
