Fantastic Shure product - takes you back to the days of reliable US made gear

This little mixer is a classic Shure design that does everything right. It takes me back to the good old days when you could find an industry standard amp or mixer or effect pedal that just did what is was meant to do and was bullet proof. It has so much functionality is small package and comes with all the bits and pieces you need to mount it on a counter, under a counter, in a rack, pretty much anywhere. I use two of these to run hifi equipment through powered studio monitors, but it can do much more than that. It's simple to use, it works flawlessly and built like a tank. The bass and treble controls are excellent too. Love it.

nice small line mixer

perfect little mixer for multiple stereo sources. clear and noise free with a wide gain range. mic and line outputs are a bonus if using this before a small audio interface. well built, looks like it could travel well and last a long time... the only negative are the RCA jacks for the stereo channels.

Amazing Quality

I needed a keyboard sub-mixer for small gigs and I was very suprised about it´s quality. For big gigs I use a Soundcraft mixer, in earlier days I had some Mackie mixers as well - so I know how this stuff sounds like. But this little Shure mixer really got me by surprise. It has great preamps that seem to be much better than the standard quality of Soundcraft and Mackie. And it is built like a tank.
On the downside it is lacking some features. There are no LED meters, there´s no aux-bus for effx, an EQ for the individual channels and no on/off switch. But in the end if you think it over, do you really need those features? If not, this could be a very good choice as the sound quality is really awesome.
