Peavey is Quality Gear!
I just ordered a pair of these subs with zero hesitation! Don't even have them yet. I have a lot of Peavey gear though, some of it dating back to the early 70's and it all still works like new. I'm looking forward to adding some new Peavey bottom end to my rig!

Peavey 18 inch sub
Ok, I was DJing for years, got out of it. After my wife died, I needed a hobby and since I am connecting with singles groups again, I made mention how I did do DJing and I was asked to do their dance on 8-12-23. I said ok, but I had no equipment. Ok, I have been dealing with Dustin--my sales engineer at Sweetwater. He's a great guy. I wanted to keep things within a cheap budget. But I also knew what I would need to really make the sound good. I ordered 4 of the low cost 18 inch subs--taking a chance. I also bought 2 Behringer 15 inch plastic molded speakers--good reviews on everything I looked at. I ordered 2 of these. I also bought two NX3000 power amps and the connecting cables. I had an older Peavy MX 2004A mixer that I hooked into. Ok, the word is WOW!!! I have it all balanced. I cannot believe the depth and tightness of the subs. The top Behringer speakers perform very well also. The power amps are just cruising--no overload at all--plenty of headroom. Ok, I spent about $3,200.00 to acquire my new system. Money well spent. If you think about it, to get real high end gear such as the SP line or better, double or triple the cost. Ok, this about the subs, but I was amazed how well the sound is--lots of depth and tightness and with 4, I am not overloading 2.

Excellent Subwoofer
This is a really great subwoofer for the price! It thumps hard and takes whatever you can throw at it without complaining. I was very curious about what was on the inside so I opened it up and was very surprised to find that peavey used threaded (machine) screws and inserts to hold the driver in place instead of regular wood screws. I was also surprised to find that the pole mount passes through from top to bottom. I would liked to have seen some more dampening material on the inside however thats not a big deal. for the price its and awesome sub!

Super Value
Great subwoofer. I own two of these and run them with a Crown XLS2502 at 2400 watts mono. They handle it, too. Totally pounds in any situation.
Shake the Gym
Used with the PV115..... Get ready!!!! Love these subs with the tops, they are clear and punchy, I wouldn't put them up against the SP line or Cerwin Vega Earthquakes, but for the $$ you can't complain! Thanks again to Delvin for his killer customer service!!
