Awesome Product

Being that it seems the Movie industry is trying to get back to business as usual, I decided to start playing in the Orchestration space
and decided based on some reviews that I would purchase this product to assist in my 1st Orchestral setup using Cubase.
After tinkering with this for a few hours, not really creating anything, Ive come to the conclusion that this is going to be a great addition
to my tool chest.

I'm not sure if there were issues in the past with installation, but I did not have any issues getting this going on my setup, again tested with
Cubase and Logic Pro.

Sounds are great, given the knowledge I have so far in this area. So now its time to get down to the nitty gritty and learn and utilize this tool.

Outstanding VI

I use Philharmonik 2 to add orchestrations to all kinds of rock. It works seamlessly with Pro Tools and Sibelius, it's easy to configure and customize, and it sounds really great. I can't say enough good things.

Great buy

This package is a great deal and the sounds are excellent. But I had a great deal of difficulty installing the sounds for Windows 7. When I downloaded the files from the IKmultimedia site, I found the six very large zip files didn"t download successfully; that is, Win7 couldn"t read them after the hours of download. To make a long story short, the only way I was able to install the sounds was to boot up with a Linux Mint USB stick (DVD would work also) and download all the files using Firefox. Then using the built-in Archive Manager, I extracted them all. They automatically extract to a subfolder, leaving an executable outside that subfolder. Then I booted back into Windows and ran one of the executables that copies all the files in the subfolder to the correct location on the C drive. Each zip file creates its own executable but, assuming you extracted all of them to the subfolder, you just have to run one of the (identical) executables to copy all the sounds to the C drive. I know it"s a lot to expect of people to use Linux, but that is the only way I was able to do it, and it did it flawlessly – my Win7 install was fresh, so I guess Windows is just not that good at file handling.

Great sounds Hard to download

The library sounds great! Many options to choose from and IMHO very well sampled. Having said that, the downloading process was a nightmare for me. Had to download several files up to three times because they ended up corrupted. If I knew that before I would have bought the box version
