Works, but inferior to the original equipment. I bought this to have a backup. You can remove a threaded piece in the base of the adapter to mount it on regular mic stand. The screw that provides fric... read more [+]tion and holds the mic at the correct angle is small and may be easy to break if over tightened. The spring loaded mechanism that locks the mic on the adapter has yet to work as intended, I always have to pull on it (weak spring) - otherwise the mic can slip off the adapter. close [-]
