Reviews

Excellent Quality!
This mic stand is very sturdy and well built. I can see it withstanding the rigors of gigging.
Music background: guitarist, vocalist, performer
Willing to pay extra for this!
I love these stands. The super sturdy round base and chrome tubing have an unbeatable classic look. It's just a very high quality stand that makes tripods look cheap and gangly.
The FOREVER STAND
I admit I use a tripod stand for solo shows because I carry my own gear BUT
those stands come and go.
I own a pair of Atlas stands I purchased in 1968 along with a BANDMASTER (drip edge AB763), a Vox Wah and a UNNIDYNE. I still have and use the stands and BANDMASTER.
There are lighter and cheaper stands but this is what you need to fight your way out of a biker bar ar 2 a.m., believe me.

Rock Solid
I've had two Atlas chrome stands since the sixties. It's one of the few musical items I've had. I like the fact that it takes minimal floor space and is not likely to get knocked. I did buy extra weights for the base and boom arm, but that is only to make sure some musician doesn't get too rambunctious. I also put the instrument mics on the chrome stand so I can easily see which stand has an instrumen. The vocals are on black stands.
Music background: Guitar, keyboard, vocal, composer, sound guy.
I've had many stands over the years..
This one is the best I've ever owned.. I'll never get rid of this one, it's a keeper and it will outlast even my grandkids..
