Featuring a new, low impedance XXL transducer with patented AKG Varimotion technology, the K 240 Studio headphones deliver a more accurate signal transfer and greater dynamic range than previously possible. Most importantly, the AKG K 240 Studio headphones play louder than ever before - on ANY system!

Plug-In Cable
The AKG K 240 Studio features a plug-in cable with mini XLR connector. This AKG innovative and professional design is especially of benefit if the cable is ever damaged. Instead of purchasing a new set of AKG K 240 Studio headphones, you only have to replace the cable (saving you money!).

Semi-Open, Circumaural Design
Semi-open headphones, such as the AKG K 240 Studio, combines the best features of both closed or sealed headphones and open air designs and relatively few or none of their disadvantages. Through careful attention to the control of resonances, a surprisingly realistic stereo sound field is developed, coupled with low distortion and extended low frequency response. Circumaural headphones encircle the ear, and provide a good seal. The AKG K 240 Studio are comfortable to wear, provide good isolation, and result in a consistent sound from one wearing to another. Bass extension is excellent with the AKG K 240 Studio because a very good air seal can be made against the head.
