A Value-packed 6-channel Headphone Amp

Does your project studio need a headphone amplifier? If so, you'll be hard-pressed to find a better bang-for-your-buck value than Behringer's Powerplay HA6000. The Powerplay HA6000 features six independent amplifier sections that provide up to six stereo mixes with individual Balance controls. You can adjust each section separately for "more me" mixing, and stereo auxiliary inputs for each channel make adding in any extra sound source easy. Beyond that, you can customize your individual mix, thanks to a Bass and Treble EQ on each channel. Each channel on the Powerplay HA6000 also boasts an Output Level control with 8-segment LED meter, Mono L/Mono R switches, and dual headphone outputs.

Packed with essential features

Each section on the Powerplay HA6000 is loaded with essential features. Each of its six high-power amplifiers can drive loads down to 8 ohms. Every section features its own individual 2-band EQ, 8-segment LED output meter, Mono L/Mono R switches, and a stereo auxiliary input for adding in any instrument or sound source. And, of course, each section boasts its own dedicated 1/4" Phones Out jack. In the main section, the HA6000 has an 8-segment LED input meter, Direct In 1/4" jack, and a Master Level knob.

All the connections you need

The Powerplay HA6000's back panel boasts all the connections you need. Each channel features an additional 1/4" output, allowing up to 12 pairs of headphones to listen to six separate mixes simultaneously. The back panel also boasts parallel Main outputs, making it easy to cascade multiple HA6000 units for greater listening capacity. The HA6000 features high-quality servo-balanced inputs and outputs on 1/4" TRS and gold-plated XLR connectors.

Behringer Powerplay HA6000

Just got it so I might eventually run across a gripe or two but for now no snags. Well, maybe seems like the output's a little low. But then again might just be the phones I'm using. I do not have a good set of studio phones. The ones I have are inexpensive closed backs used for tracking. They work great for that but don't have the best fidelity so can't comment on that.
I got this so I could have a number of totally independent cue mixes for individual musicians. I have an RME audio card and with their Total Mix and an additional ADAT it's pretty easy to set that up.
I was comparing the HA 6000 with the ART Headamp 6 Pro. It looks identical but is considerably more money. I'm betting they are both made in the same Chinese factory and outside of price virtually the same. Of course I don't know that for sure. No way to compare unless I had the two side by side ( which ain't likely to ever happen). Final analysis is the Behringer serves my needs perfectly.

Versatile Headphone Amplifier

I really love this headphone amp. It has very useful functions and is capable of handling my requirements for both studio and stage scenarios. I especially find the "master" output signal level indicator, and "individual" output signal level indicators for each channel as being a nice touch to ensure visual indication to not over-drive my headphones. The many features of this unit speaks for itself regarding function, fit, and form.

In-ear Monitoring on a budget!

Great option for in-ear monitoring on a budget. We run everything into the mixer and then from the mixer to the headphone mixer/distribution amplifier plug our headphones in while dial in our own settings. It's great!
