The Best For All Venues

I have this case. I added a piece of one inch thick foam rubber about two inches (on all sides) larger that the inside dimensions of the bottom of this case. Once the Yamaha EMX 512 sits down into the foam, I place another piece of one inch thick foam on top of the head. This piece of foam is slightly larger than the top opening dimensions. I tuck the excess around the mixer head. That way, the mixer head can't fall around within the case during transit. This is where I place my power cable, speaker cables, footswitch, etc. Then, it's simply close, zip the lid, and I'm off to the next venue!

Works perfect!

Had a hard time finding a protective case for my Peavey 8600 power mixer which was getting some rough handling on gigs. My inquiry to Sweetwater with recommendations was returned quickly and the GPA 720 Gator case they suggested fits perfect and it built to protect the contents.
