Impressive flexibility

A 16x2 AVB-networked personal monitor mixer with 16 mono input channels, the PreSonus EarMix 16M can be powered via PoE and offers 3-band EQ and limiting on all channels as well as the main mix. The EarMix 16M features channel grouping plus stereo channel linking, a powerful headphone amp perfect for low-impedance in-ear monitors, 2 AVB Ethernet ports, and chaining support that lets you network up to 24 units with a StudioLive Series III mixer.

Great Units

I purchased 5 of these for my worship band. They work great. The first time I got them all, I was having a lot of misc cutouts that were network based. I discovered that there was different firmware on the different units. Updated all the firmwares on the mixers and stage boxes and it was fixed. If you're buying more than one of these units, make sure that you update all the firmware as soon as you get them out of the box to ensure that they're all matching.

Drumming up a storm.

Moved my Roland TD-50 drums to my living room and used the earwax 16 to pay the sound from the sound studio and the drums at the same time

Loud and Clear

I've used Avioms and Behringer P100's in the past. The Earmix sounded fuller and quieter (no hiss). I also love the fact that you have full eq and limiter on the Master Outputs as well as on each individual channel. The build quality is really nice; it is made out of metal and not plastic. Don't forget that you will need to get the mic stand mount which is an option. One good thing about the mount is that you can clip it to a boom stand or use it with a straight stand. This is a really nice personal monitor. I'm very impressed.

Awsome!

If you want to focus on the music while on stage or in the studio, this piece of equipment is just what is needed. No more hearing from the lead vocalist "Turn me up" or from the drummer "My mix isn't right". I purchased six of them from Sweetwater and once again Zach Garrison's customer service was "second to none".

Sound is clear

So glad that Presonus made this. It's perfect for my studio and the sound quality was impressive. Only complaint is it would be nice if the mic stand adapter came with it but it is separate.
