Aaron RomA concrete snare? Yep! The DW Collector's Series Concrete Snare is a monster. It's powerful, with a very focused, dry sound, and would work great in a situation where you needed a lot of attack and articulation but not a lot of overtones. I was somewhat skeptical of this snare at first, but its sound is concrete proof (pun intended) that this is a drum worth having!
