The Next Step in Capo Innovation

Tired of retuning your strings every time you tighten your capo? Paige’s Clik ETI (Enhanced Tone Innovation) capos are specially designed to require minimal pressure across the strings by utilizing a slotted tension bar that’s similar to a guitar’s nut. Plus, a fine-tune tension wheel and a quick-release button make the Clik ETI great for players who move their capos around often during a set. Here at Sweetwater, one of our favorite features is how the ETI can be positioned above the nut to keep your guitar at the ready for some capo action!

Enhanced Tone Innovation technology

Traditional capos can have a tendency to throw your guitar’s tuning out of whack; designs that utilize a solid tension bar apply even pressure across all the strings, and this can be an issue as significantly less pressure is required to depress lower gauge strings than higher gauge strings. Paige’s ETI solves this issue by replacing the classic bar design with a system that looks just like a guitar’s nut — only flipped upside down. Each slot is individually molded for each string: this, combined with the tone bar’s radius, allows the Clik ETI to apply only the absolute minimum amount of string pressure required to produce a clean note. The result? You're always in tune!

Paige Clik PC-6-ETI 6-string Guitar Capo Features:

  • Paige’s unique ETI design applies minimal pressure across the strings, reducing the need to retune
  • Easy 1-handed adjustment with quick-release button
  • Outsert radius keeps the strings centered when bending
  • Tension wheel for fine-tuning
  • Can be kept behind the nut
  • 16-inch radius

Love it

I lost my old Paige capo and wanted another, and when I saw this one I decided it would be a really good upgrade over the vinyl sleeve model, especially since I got a deal on a demo model. This capo keeps everything in tune much better than the old one, and this is the first time I've ever been able to get my guitar to sound good with a capo on the 5th fret. My old one only sounded good on the first or second frets. I also never had to tune my guitar once despite moving it all over the neck. It's a lot easier to feel how much force is going on the strings with this one, and the plastic saddles not only keep the individual strings in tune better but also give you a clearer tone and more sustain than the vinyl sleeve. The quick release on the screw is nice for taking it off or putting it on the guitar, but I don't plan on doing that very often.

Better than average capo

I don't care how much you pay for a capo, I think Paige makes the best ones out there, bar none! I've enjoyed Paige capos for 20 years. I was happy with my standard Paige so I didn't upgrade to the Clik when I learned about it. However, when they came out with the Clik PC-6-ETI (Enhanced Tone Innovation) I was sold. I had read about Paige's adventures into this technology when it was first offered a while back. Their best model is priced beyond my desire to pay but this model is cheaper and very similar. While I admit it isn't designed like their high end model (with springs for individual guitar strings) and much higher priced, the PC-6-ETI does an amazing job.

It does what regular capos can't do. No matter how well designed a capo is, most rely on a straight padded bar of some sort to press all the strings at once. Even if the bar perfectly matches the radius of the fretboard, it can't possibly perfectly match the thickness of each string. This makes us have to wiggle the capo and tighten it a lot to avoid string rattle. Over tightening ALWAYS throws your guitar out of tune and you have to retune every time you move the capo.

Not with this capo. I can keep it so loose that I can literally move the capo around while each and every string is properly fretted. It's that good. Of course I don't want the capo moving so I clamp it with a little lighter than normal pressure each time. I don't have to retune when I release it. It's a miracle.
Music background: I've really loved my capos, since 1964. But like guitars, they don't go far, I only want one more.

Stays in tune!

That's it. No buzz, stays in tune even when I move it around. AMAZING.

Great Capo

This capo keeps the guitar in tune better than any clamp capo I have tried. It takes a few tries to get used to putting it on, but it gets easier relatively quickly. You can also store it on the head stock.
