Vintage Squish for Top Value

You really can't go wrong with MXR and this pedal is no exception. With it's simple two knob controls, dialing your sound is too easy. Besides making clean guitar very crisp, this pedal has the potential to cause notes to sustain for as long as you want. Combining it with an overdrive and you have some seriously extreme sustain, that hasn't been heard since the likes of Nigel Tufnel. There's a reason the Dyna Comp has been one of the most used Compressors out there. It speaks for itself.

Does the Job

I've been through a few compressors, Boss, Keely Plus and the MXR M102. This script logo is different in a very basic way. It doesn't affect the tone as much as the others. In fact, very little change. The other compressors seemed to choke the highs even on a lightly compressed setting. I keep it on most of the time with sensitivity at 9 o'clock, light compression and output set to unity. Basic, simple and does the job well.
