Received the Model 9158 case today. I'm not a musician and was unaware of Sweetwater. After sending back two hard shell cases to Amazon (yes, I checked measurements carefully-measure twice or even 3 times etc...) I asked GROK "are there any guitar case suppliers providing a hard shell case for a 50 yr old Ovation Custom Balladeer". The first recommendation was the 9158 available at Sweetwater. Not knowing anything about Sweetwater I took the plunge and ordered. This case fits perfectly. The case was on backorder but the web site said my CC wouldn't be charged until the case came in. And that's exactly what happened. Even had a customer service rep call me to confirm the order and future payment. Ovation logo on exterior is classy. All hardware crisply snaps in place. Very plush and soft interior. I've wanted something I could check while flying. I think this will work (naive?). I'll add a TSA lock strap, and (hopefully), have my instrument while traveling. I haven't had lost or had broken golf clubs in over 40 yrs and this case has a harder shell than my golf club travel bag.

I am very happy with my purchase. After many years (18 years) of using an ovation guitar hard case. My case started falling apart. I visited many guitar stores to be able to find the same one and had no luck and even tried to get my case upholstered, also with no luck. Many stores advised me to get a custom made one but that it would have a risk of not fitting. After all these years, I was able to search online at Sweetwater for the most similar one. Turns out that it's the exact same one and the fit was perfect. My Adamas 12 string deep contour guitar fit perfectly!

I bought this when I ordered my Ovation Celebrity. It arrived on time and perfect. The case is made very well and gives me a sense of security, knowing my guitar is safe from the elements and any damage. I am so happy I chose to spend a little more than planned because this hard case will last a lifetime, which ensures my guitar will too. Comes with a key which I thought was pretty cool. 10/10 recommend!

Great protection for the 12 String guitar.

I was looking for a case for an older vintage "Made in USA" Ovation that I had picked up at a pawn shop years ago. I had always kept it in a crappy old ragged case just to be protected.

It's nice it finally has a proper case where it doesn't bang around inside the case.
