Good quality product, fast shipping, thank you
Does its job perfectly
I bought this to turn the 1/4" L and R channel speaker outputs on my SSL 2 into an extra headphone output and it works perfectly. Sound is clear and no noise or other unwanted things that I can detect. The connectors and joints seem very well made and I'm confident it could withstand some decent abuse. It can also be useful going the other way if you want to listen to or record media from a 3.5mm source, but only have 1/4" L and R inputs available. The description says it's only 6", but that's just the measurement of the cable between the two connections. In reality it gives you about 8" of extension when the 1/4" jacks are plugged in. The quality of the product combined with Sweetwater's free shipping and customer service... it's a no-brainer. Maybe even buy a couple extra because this thing really does comes in handy.
Bought for amp without headphone jack
my amp doesn't have a headphone jack, but has two 1/4 inch inputs. my headphones have a 1/4 inch adapter, and when plugged in to the amp only 1 ear would have volume. bought this and now the headphones work with each ear! great solution at a great price
Perfect problem solver
This is a perfect little problem solver, couldn't ask for anything more.
Does what it says until it broke
Worked like a charm for a month. I only used it to practice at home. It allowed me to have stereo 1/4in outs on my amp modeler, then connect a set of stereo headphones into the 1/8in female jack. Then one day I'm playing and I heard a small click sound and one ear of the headphones stops working. When I switched the 1/4in out of my amp modeler the silent ear now worked, but then the other ear didn't. So, I fiddled with the headphone 1/8in connection and it would go in and out when I'd halfway plug the headphones in, but never worked right again when fully inserted. Seems like the 1/8in female jack is not great quality on these.
