Perfect Freedom
Freedom from cords. I love this wireless system. It really is Plug & Play. Super simple. No issues with sound at all. I haven't wandered far yet so I can not comment on the range but it works great for me.
Awesome
I started playing music at the age of 12 and As I grew up I began playing with groups and now I'm 53 I wish this was invented back then
Much needed
No more cables getting in your way and you can walk pretty far with em before they cut out. Had a set before that just quit playing so I bought the same ones because of their convenience and quality.
wireless xvive u2 digital wireless guitar system
It's great. love it. that really nice how it connects to to guitar in a small pocket holder.
hope I have it for a long time.
You’re on!
Charged up! Plugged in! Rock on!!
Chord freedom!!
I'm really enjoying this wireless system, why didn't I do this sooner? It's a whole different experience!!
No latency, tone stays the same. Works off footpedals great. I highly recommend anyone to buy these for your guitar playing enjoyment.
And as always Sweetwater comes through with great music products!!
Excellent sound
No loss of tone or audio quality in transmission. Great battery life on each charge. Highly recommend this cordless solution.
Great Sound Quality
Great for working without chord obstruction and has really good sound quality.
I was skeptical but
I was skeptical in the beginning, after receiving my device I plugged in and WOW !! Everyone needs one of these !
Absolutely amazing sound through the pedal board with no noise or latency and of course, no cords to trip on or watch for now I'm walking to the house playing the guitar. Absolutely amazing we need to get one of these.
I love these
I have tripped over guitar cables too many times. I have purchased several sets of these, and have encouraged other guitar players to use them as well.
Low cost, high performance
This is like the third or fourth set of XVive wireless I've purchased, why? Because they work, they don't fade out on stage when you turn away from the base unit or move to the opposite side of the stage to jam with the other guitarist. I haven't tested the distance on this one that I just got, but I have tested it on my other XVive units and the 70 foot distance is conservative I've tested it at 100+ feet with no dropouts. I haven't noticed any high frequency roll-off or low frequency muddiness. I like these way better than tripping over cables and cables picking up dirt from dirty stages, etc.
I've owned and used the expensive Shure wireless, yes they are great, but why pay thousands of dollars for great wireless when you can get great wireless
Xvive U2 Digital Wireless Guitar System - 3-tone Sunburst
Very good wireless system and for the price is no bad at all.
amazing!
Great, simple connectivity. Great sound. And I can dance and move without cords. I am thrilled with this purchase.
Wireless guitar system. Xvive
No lag. Super easy to use
Very, very cool! Love it!
This wireless guitar system is so cool! It was so easy to set up and was perfect from the moment I plugged it in.
Free At Last!
After years of repairing guitar cords, we decided to go wireless on our worship team, and we're never looking back! These were truly "plug and play", and the sound is great. Got one for the lead guitar player and one for the electric-acoustic guitar and are completely satisfied with this set up. Highly recommend!
Cordless
Great devices. Good for five plus hours.
Easy to use freedom
I love being able to adjust my mix by walking into the middle of the club before a show and getting a sound check. It also allows me the freedom to move around the stage without the hassle of a cord being wrapped around another player. I've had mine for 5 yrs. and only lately have I had it run down on power. I do wish they offered replacement batteries - they don't! Don't even try to find one. Also, myself and others have tried to contact the company.. with no response. If they go bad - your on your own, unless they're under store warranty.
As for sound; You'll find them perfectly clear with no buzzing or tonal loss. I use them with acoustic guitars with active pickups with no buzz. Just make sure your using a quality preamp that's well shielded, it shouldn't be a problem. Plus they now offer a strap pack if you do get a buzz signal.
Xvive U2 wireless guitar system
The fobs work great with the acoustic guitar and our amp. As a bonus, they work great with our new T-shaped, amp-capable Cajon.
T-shaped,amplified Cajon
We just received the Cajon and bag we ordered. They are in perfect condition and the Cajon sounds great. It amps well and sounds better unamped than the acoustic-only, t-shaped cajon we already own. We are impressed.
Best i have ever used
This is my third wireless. This is the best sounding and most hassle-free unit I have owned, at half the price. They really have a great product here, I'm buying another to go from my amp to my board. Love it
Wireless that Rocks
I have tried multiple different brands and configurations but these by far work and perform the best!!
The Cable Guy
I am that guy that has no problem spending $ on a quality Morgami Cable. Recently during the month of December while i was practicing my wife's family Christmas presents begin to show up @ what seemed like all at once. Since most of my guitars are set neck I make sure they are secure before i run to the front door before the family German Shepard can reek havoc on the delivery man. I needed a solution to not having to put down the guitar every time i have to answer the door. I bought these since they were affordable & had good reviews. Wow, what an awesome product the Xvive u2 is. I am now considering using it for live gigs i like them that much. Truly one of my more practical Sweetwater purchases!
Third Set
Love these, great to cut the cord for a reasonable price. They work for bar gigs, porches, back yards, and keep the floor uncluttered at rehearsal. We run 3 channels, no technical issues ever.
Xvive U2 wireless guitar system
This is the first wireless guitar system I bought. There is no need look further!. This system sounds amazing while allowing the freedom to move around comfortably. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to go wireless.
Great little unit
Works great, sounds great. No problems with static noise. Makes playing even more fun without the hassle of a cord. Can move about freely with no problem. Would recommend.
Xvive U2 digital wireless system
Absolutely wonderful,i don't know how to even say how much i enjoy it.Glad to finally have it in my arsenal.
Xvive wireless guitar system
Excellent system for the price. I liked it so well that I bought the bassist and other guitarist their own systems. no more tripping/tangling of cables. The Xvive wireless guitar system is a no-brainer.
Wireless!!!
Xvive wireless system is awesome.... I wandered way out into the crowd on a lead break and had perfect transmission...can finally do a real sound check of the other parts of the band and dance with the crowd at the same time!!
Very Impressive Clean Responsive Sound!
I am very impressed with the Xvive U2 Digital Wireless Guitar System. It produces a clean responsive sound! I walked around my house, putting several walls between the transmitter and receiver and had no problem at all. I will be using live on stage in a couple of weeks with my Xvive U4 Inner Ear Monitor system.
Love these
I used the AKG "guitar bug" system in the early 2000's. I love it because I can't stand the belt clip-ons and with all my gear, I don't need to lug a rack (I did that too). I also used the Line 6 wireless and I still had to provide power to it. I stay close to my amp... I just hate stepping on cords or having to detach for sound checks and to go across stage. This is my 2nd purchase. I bought my first ones in 2017 and the battery one of the pieces started to fail. At this price... I thought a non-issue to buy a new set. I've played 4 hour gigs with no problems with recharging. I would advise anyone buying these to get a strong case (I use a extra large sunglasses case) because these are very delicate. Also, don't plan on changing the battery unless your are a major DIY geek and have some electronic and mechanical skills. I love this new color too, it goes with my Suhr M+.
Freed to bass around
My Xvive wireless arrived a few days ago and I put it through the paces in use this weekend in a large church setting. I was so pleased with it's flawless performance. Made me a fan! Great product.
Good gear
I use it on every gig for the past year. Sound is just as the cable. Wouldn't play a gig without it.
Works as advertised.
I've only used for one gig so far, but they worked flawlessly. I went out into the audience probably 60-70 feet, and no signal dropout. I plugged directly into the jack of my acoustic guitar, and there was absolutely no interference from the on-board electronics on my Taylor. They were powered up for about 3-1/2 hours and the batteries were still going strong. My only very minor criticism would be that the on/off switch has some play in it - identical feel for both units, so it's probably just the design. Time will tell how well those switches last. But my first impression at a real gig was "extremely satisfied". I highly recommend them.
So far, so good
I first saw these advertised on Sweetwater about a year ago, but couldn't justify pulling the trigger on them. However, I played a gig recently in a small bar and didn't have a lot of room for all my stuff. My amp was on a stand, but not really stable. I didn't know my guitar cable got caught on something and turned just in time to catch my amp before my cable pulled it off the stand. That made my up mind to go wireless and I remembered seeing these and decided to give them a go. So far, I'm really pleased with them. Being wireless, I expected that there would be some kind of buzz or hiss, but there was nothing. I have friends who paid a lot more money for their wireless systems and they're impressed by the quality, performance and price of the xvive
Freedom
This wireless guitar system has freed me from the irritation of the tangled cord bunching up under my feet.
I'm not the run out into the audience while playing guitar guy. In fact many of my gigs are small venues where I don't have a lot of room to maneuver. In those situations I found the 1/4" lead from the guitar to my pedalboard was always a trip hazard. Bunching up under my feet or wrapping around my foot. I was constantly moving it out of my way as much as possible. Xvive solves that problem completely. The extreme low latency is 100% unnoticeable and the signal is uncolored. I cannot hear any difference between the Xvive U2 and my 1/4" guitar cord. Except for the sound of freedom.
Cordless
Perfect for my needs--mostly clubs, etc. Clean, full fidelity. Allows me to step out front of the band to check volume and balance. Love it!
great product
my husband loves this cordless unit, and thinks they are the best.
Decent and Affordable
This wireless system works, and it's very simple and affordable. I use mine at home and at my rehearsal space, so I don't have a mess of cables where I practice. I'm not sure that I would gig with this, but I haven't noticed any issues so far.
Xvive
I had to look over the instructions a few times to figure out why these units were not working properly and giving muted and waving sounds from my amp. I thought the units would automatically configure and find each other. But once I discerned that was NOT the case and that one has to match the channels for the devices, it worked fine.
Works Fine. Easy to Use...
Works Fine. Easy to Use and to Charge by USB. I Performed with XVIVE Guitar wireless in Theater...Price Perfect...
nice
nice thank you
Xvive U2 wireless guitar system
Xvive U2 wireless guitar system. Pretty decent for price. Have used at a couple outside gigs and did fine. Units were only 6 feet apart. No dropouts.
Also bought Xvive wireless mic adapter. Not super impressed. Sounded good when used to mic guitar. But vocals not as good. But will be handy when add additional vocalist and not have deal with another cord. Or just mic the guitar.
XVIVE
Easy hook up and sound...but they seem to cut out from one sound level to a lower volume.. forcing me to turn up the mixer volume levels.
Like having a Snake in your Amp
Great Idea for a low cost wireless system. But Hisses all the time. Alot of static.
I would not recommend. Buy a good cord
Vulnerable to interference
These are quite sensitive to interference and if they do suffer, the signal deteriorates to an unusable level. I had to use the extension to connect the xmit to an analog strat and that helped some. Then instead of connecting the receiver directly to my UA Apollo, I had to use a guitar lead connected to a tuner to get the receiver away from the UA interface and that almost eliminated the interference, but not 100%. Also the audio quality doesn't compare to having the guitar plugged directly in, but I guess that's to be expected. Overall I absolutely would not use these for live gigs and they're barely usable for practice.
Snap crackle pop - don't get this
I picked this up in addition to the Xvive U4 Wireless In-ear Monitoring for our bass guitar player. The two devices are offered together as a pair, so this should work. Unfortunately, there was a lot of interference. We use a digital soundboard with two stage boxes from the Presonus line. Every time we use the wireless guitar system, it pops, drop and crackle etc. It's not worth it right now. Hopefully they will figure this issue out. Purchased 12/2023, leaving review 2/2024
NOT FOR ME THANKS
I bought several Xvive units. The U2, the U3, and the U4 models.
I'll say this. I'm quite glad there are other reviews here that celebrate successes.
But me? My experience is 1,000% polar opposite. I've tried and tried and tried endlessly in as many configurations as possible. And to no avail or hope of success.
CONSTANT whining and cracking and popping and even as much as 2 seconds at a time for complete loss of connectivity.
I've communicated extensively with Xvive. They clearly admit the transmitters are easily interfered with.
Xvive offers two suggests. One is that any instrument has battery powered electronics or built in mic, to turn the gain down. Me? I do NOT own, nor will I own an instrument with such contraptions. As for the mic systems, Xvive suggest using high quality cables such as Mogami Gold between the transmitter and the mic as well as between the receiver and intended input. Uh. I thought they were supposed to be WIRELESS?
I had already tried every single suggestion they offered multiple times before I contacted them and had done so in multiple venues on multiple setups. ALL to no avail. I certainly have to knowledge and equipment plenty to have access to a huge array of setups to track down the problem. Again. To no avail.
Also. Xvive really had very little good to say about LR Baggs product use with their systems. And or any instrument with a battery.
My thought on their stand about LR Baggs is simply out by saying, "Seriously? Don't use the finest product on the market with Xvive? Oooohhhh NO".
To say, that I'm a huge fan of LR Baggs and personally own a wide array of their products. However, I don't use LR Baggs pickups at all in guitars. I'm an acoustic only player and ONLY use internal soundboard mounted transducer pickups. K and K in particular.
But the Xvive mic systems. What a nightmare.
I've tried them on 40 different mics ranging from Shure 57's and 58's, to several AKG C414's, to Lauten large diaphragm, to Nuemann U87's, and the WHHHIIIIIINNNE never stops unless you touch the transmitter with your hand.
It's been a miserable journey and waste of time and money.
Drop out
Worked very well first couple of months then started to crackle and seemed like it couldn't stay on channel, thought it might be interference but it's really not close enough to anything to create this problem. Not pleased with it at all seeing that this is pretty common with these online.
