You can trigger a close-miked sample, a stereo room sample, and a stereo overhead sample — all right from the same drum track. And each sample layer offers customization over such parameters as velocity and dynamic control, independent levels, and sustain. Trigger even features positional sensing, a visual hit detector, and 127 different articulations per sample layer - high-tech stuff that boils down to great-sounding, tight, sample-accurate drum tracks. Everything lines up and hits right with the original tracks.
To make the most out of Trigger, Slate Digital hooked you up with two modes: Live and Accurate. Use Live when you're onstage and need a no-latency engine. Use Accurate mode when you're working in the pro studio and need the most precise detail and most natural velocity response possible. But it gets better.

All of the samples were recorded to 2" tape, using nothing but the finest in vintage and analog gear.
