Best boom fur your buck
I have tried many speakers from your big box retailer stores tossing shops and the best I have used for Dj gigs so far is Definitely my Mackie Pro thump 215X. You can be a brand snob if you choose to be but at the end of the day as loud as I turn these crystal clear with great sound especially if you pair w a big floor sub. I am not afraid to DJ med to large venues with Mackie.
Crank it.
Rock on Mackie and Sweetwater
Awesome
Awesomeness
Excellent Buy!
Solidly built speakers that sound great! It may take "a minute" to get used to EQing the speaker when using a mixer due to the built-in presets.
super thump
Mackie took a good thing and made it better

Very clean sound, and lots of power, Not as crisp as I would like them. A little too much mid-rang but overall great speakers.
Makie Thump 215 xl
With keeping in mind I only ordered one , it produces a desent sound and good volume for one speaker case , for a beginner it would be very good , I wanted lighter weight to play in smaller places and I feel it will work just fine for that , the app is nice , you can adjust the amp settings and then full control with your phone , seems it would be a awesome monitor too , its worth its price
Nice amp.....But....
I purchased this unit earlier this year. It is a good amp with great power; more than enough for my needs, but I think need Mackie to tweak them a bit. First, the amp does not come with a cover. Under normal circumstances that shouldn't be an issue but the knobs on the back should be recessed. without that they stick out too much and can be hit or banged when moving the unit. Secondly, there is no onboard storage for chords. Amps always need chords. There isn't even a place for the power chord. I have been a musician for 55 yrs(I'm 75 and still playing out ). All the older amps I had had storage for the chords they needed. This amp doesn't seem that it was designed with a professional musician in mind. It's great if you're not moving it around, but gets to be a problem when moving it. I don't think it was designed with a professional musician in mind. They should have paid more attention to these details. I definitely think the amp is good, but Mackie should address these issues.
Worst sounding speakers I’ve ever heard!
Shame on mackie. They know better. They are hissy, and kill any music that goes into them! Ordered the altos and a/b'd them and the altos 15s 2500 watt was night and day better at way less the price. And way more headroom too ! I have a mackie 32 c and many other mackie products. Love them. These speakers should be recalled
