From Our Research Team:An Amazing Collection of Virtual Analog and FM Synths!FXpansion DCAM Synth Squad virtual analog synth bundle puts classic synthesizer sound and performance right into your computer! DCAM Synth Squad includes the fat-sounding Strobe peformance synth; the rich Arp-like Amber string synth; Cypher, the lead-friendly Cypher analog-emulating/FM synthesizer. Fusor is a semi-modular combiner/workstation that not only puts the other three synths to work in the same enviroment, but also lets you add even more effects and LFOs to the other great sound-shaping tools you get in the DCAM Synth Squad.FXpansion DCAM Synth Squad Virtual Analog Synth Bundle at a Glance:
A modern performance synth with all the thickness you need Designed to be accessible to program, Strobe emits rude, upfront sounds full of frenzied energy. A thouroughly modern performance synth, Strobe'd super-oscillator includes seveal parallel waveforms and sub-oscillators with individual ocative settings and voice stack/detune functions for great bass, lead, and poly sounds. Its versatile multimode filter features rich driv e for extra-thick tone, while the arpeggiator and TransMod modulation system help you create dynamic performances full of movement and variation. Psychedlic string synth A groundbreaking model of a string synthesizer divide-down oscillator architecture that also features a formant filter and three chorus models, Amber provides a thick, psychedelic sound that takes you back to the '70s. This synth emulates the playing response of several classic types of string synths, while offering new innovations such as paraphonic voices and advanced modulation. Analog-style modulation meets digital accuracy and flexibility Cypher takes analog FM into the future, combining the closest to analog audio-rate modulation to date with digital luxuries such as polyphony, precese frequency ratios, and thru-zero behavior. The result? Rich, musical analog FM sound. Three oscillators intermodulate in a variety of ways, while dual shaper/filter stages and the TransMod modulation system give you an incredibly deep platform for shaping everythng from mono/poly sounds to abstract textures and sound effects. Layer your synths in a modular environment The Fusor environment lets you layer DCAM synths and modulate them with extra LFOs, envelopes, and Animator, an advanced arpeggiator/step-sequencer. The premium quality built-in effects include circuit-modeled filters, compressors, and distortions. You can even route control signals between synths and effects for complex patches, large-modular-unit style. Fusor, like the individual synths in the DCAM Synth Squad, comes withan array of presets ready to explore and tweak. FXpansion DCAM Synth Squad Virtual Analog Synth Bundle Features:

You can use them as FX also which is awesome, given that i dont like most of the filters on other vsts. Presets on them aren't bad at all either, but i really get the most satisfaction out of programming my own with these. Really glad i bought these, FXpansion makes Quality stuff. Recommend for sure. =] close [-] The real deal

very well designed software synthesizers. the closest thing you'll find that does a convincing vintage analog sound. each of the 3 synths can be used as instruments or fx. fusor lets you run your dcam... read more [+] synths through additional included effect modules but you cannot run external audio through these modules due to a licensing agreement with third parties. you can however, run audio through each of the synths individually without fusor. this is the only reason not to give it 5 stars. all the good things you love about analog gear with the option to have more polyphony, more osc's, midi automation, morph groups, complex modulation routing possibilities. as deep as you want to go. all the included patches are useful mostly as a starting point to tweak the sound your looking for. each synth has a knob to adjust the reliability of the synth. you can make it out of tune and unpredictable. with all the problems and character of a vintage instrument, or not. the filters really do sound analog. the best yet. the strobe is the simplest of the three. I often use it for everything. I use it for moog sounds. I run other synths through it and retrigger the filter in strobe with the same midi track. so its like my other synths have a really good filter section now. its a good feeling to get such amazing resluts out of other synths that way. synthsquad is my new must have pluggin. close [-]

Carson McClainWow, Wow, Wow! I just installed these and I have to say these are some of the best synth plug-ins I have used to date. So far Fusor and Cypher are my favorite, mainly because I could not keep my hands off of my keyboard. If you want to be the bleeding-edge synth guy, this package is a must. Also popular
