The StroboStomp 2 pedal tuner may be the most accurate, feature-laden tuner ever to sit on a pedalboard. In designing this tuner, Peterson has included all the features guitarists and bassists have been waiting for, such as 100% true bypass, six tempered preset tunings including three Buzz Feiten settings, two user programmable temperaments, drop- and capo-tuning transposition - and as if all that was not enough, a built-in active DI for acoustic and bass guitarists. A quality 3PDT stomp switch allows the player to mute both regular and DI outputs to allow silent tuning to an incredible 0.1 cent accuracy. The StroboStomp is constructed from heavy-duty die-cast aluminum and even has a 9VDC output to power other pedals. The StroboStomp 2 is a pedal tuner worth getting excited about!

MORE THAN A PRECISION TUNER

The Peterson Strobostomp 2 is more than just the most precise digital tuner on the market. You can tune everything from acoustic guitar, electric guitar, 12 string guitar, droped tunings, raised capo ... read more [+]tunings, pedal steel guitar, dobro, and the list goes on. One of the great features is the box offers a 1/4" and an XLR DI outputs for plugging into two amps at once, an amp an a mixer or recorder.

You know it's a tough little unit, it comes with a three year warranty. Also, I had a question and Peterson replied by phone and spent over 10 minutes walking me through the different personalized tuning types I wanted as my favorites. You don't get service like that from most musical equipment manufactures. close [-]

I have the original Strobostomp which has similar specifications to the V2. I got this after owning the VS1, which is a bench tuner. The neat thing about the strobostomp is the DI. I do a lot of gig w... read more [+]here I find I don't have much room or need for an amplifier so it's bass into a compressor then the strobostomp into the board! Need to switch instruments? Click the pedal and it mutes your signal while you change, tune-up, then switch it back on! Although I would not say it is the cleanest DI to record with - it is great for live settings. close [-]
