For starters, the pedal is built like a tank and looks and feels like a Dunlop/Vox wah. It is incredibly sturdy and has rubber feet that gorilla grip the floor, keeping it steady and virtually locked in place.Because it is designed for Helix, it is basically plug and play and requires only a single TRS cable to enable the pedal's dual switch design (other exp pedals require an extra Y cable for dual switch function). And functionally, it does exactly what I wanted: Provides precision foot control over volume, nails a variety of wah sounds at the ready, and rides the pitch effects without getting thrown off. These are the basics that are sort of built in to the pedal's plug and play functionality. The possibilities offered by setting it up to control parameters of the extended family of effects in the Helix are endless, and I have yet to step foot into that infinite realm.

Very pleased to add this to my HX Stomp rig. Many possibilities that I have not yet even had time to explore with this expression pedal addition due to the flexibility of the HX Stomp. Does what its supposed to do. Solid construction.

Always used a wah pedal beginning in the early 80's so its a part of my sound for most of the music I play.
This unit is so quiet and works flawlessly with the Stomp I plugged it up with balanced cable it was ready to go. This expression pedal does so much more than just a wah its being used as a parameter sweep a volume pedal, up and down switching for effects and snapshots, yeah just amazing should have gotten it when I bought the HX Stomp!

I love how I can program it to control just about anything on my helix! It's very well built as well a must have in your arsenal

Love this volume pedal. It has the toe switch built in just like all the other line 6 pedal boards to access more functions. I like the wah.

Really happy addition to my Helix rack. Smooth, accurate, quiet. I have this pedal and one without a toe switch connected to the floor board for my Helix.

Another of the triad of gear that is by far the most versatile I've used. Helix Rack, Controller and this pedal make a rig that's simply what I've dreamed of for years. My estimation - perfect. People may rave about Kemper and Axe FX, but I frankly can't imagine any improvement over this.

If you have a Helix Rack you need this. The toe switch makes it so useful. By default wahs default to expression 1 with the toe switch. While you can use any patch, my only gripe is that they don't include a 3-foot dual line patch with right angles so that it cleanly sits next to your foot control.

all of gear is top with specs and all I 'm having little bit of trouble hooking up this pedal to the helix foot control getting it to recognize the Helix and having it learn sequence to the rack and settings to adjust can somebody help me? I really like everything it has to offer the sturdy design and toe control features for adjust the overall tonality to learn with the rack /foot control but still having adjustment problems can you offer some overall tips info. advice and what not for these features it's a great to own for the Helix line -6 user's ... I was expecting a better quality and more capable pedal. It has a very…VERY light weight pedal resistance. Also when it is used with my HX Stomp it basically is an on and off switch. There is absolutely no difference in volume 15 and 100. It was really not for me!
