To build on the success of the already acclaimed Mbox line of audio interfaces, Avid went back to square one to build the Pro Tools Mbox with Pro Tools Express. New components, a new signal path, and a big focus on convenience and usability went into this latest version of the Mbox, and it sounds better than ever.

Built-in DSP engine, and more
The Pro Tools Mbox with Pro Tools Express also comes equipped with a built-in guitar tuner and a dedicated DSP engine for cue mixing with reverb. Now, you can add reverb or delay to vocals as you record, without worrying about latency or having to manage cumbersome outboard gear. There's also a super-useful assignable Pro Tools multifunction button right on the face of the Pro Tools Mbox. This button gives you fast access to software functions inside of Pro Tools, including record arming and on-the-fly track creation.
