I purchased this to use as a bass drum mic a few years ago, and while it's not bad on a kick prefer it as a floor tom mic. It really shines on toms and bass cabinets!

sucks for kick drum, but its pretty nice 4 bass guitar. It's decent on floor tom as well....kinda. If you have a really thin sounding guitar you can try putting this up to it as well, then slap a hig... read more [+]h pass filter afterward...it's worth a shot, worked once for me. close [-]
