This is the perfect piano. It has everything a new student/beginner needs, 88 weighted keys, metronome and much more. I have spent years wasting my time with digital pianos that didn't meet my needs. This is a keeper, it is not complicated or filled with things you will never use or figure out. The instructor/owners manual is informative and easy to read. it is simply an incredibly wonderful piano. Nobody does it better than Yamaha. I love this thing.

I absolutely love my piano. The sound is crystal clear, the touch of the keys feels good, and the digital interface is the right size and is easy to navigate. I can see this piano lasting for years due to its robust build. However, I know some people stated that this piano has a heavy key bed. In my opinion, the key bed feels like an acoustic piano. Whoever buys this piano will have made an excellent investment.

I had been mulling on getting a proper weighted keys digital piano for a while, and the lack of availability due to the pandemic didn't help speed things along, until a conversation with Joe James, my Sweetwater Sales engineer. He helped me stir my choice on this Yamaha product vs a Roland alternative I had been contemplating, and it just happened to have been restocked in my preferred white finishing. Done and done! Piano, stand, pedals and a white bench to complete the look, all promptly delivered and saved from shipping disaster by the double-boxing that Sweewater does: otherwise the piano might have met the sharp end of a pallet mover... Thanks Joe and Sweewater.
As far playing this white beauty, it's great with a nice and full sound, plenty of resonances and ways to tweak them, lots of voice choices with the great CFX and Bosendorfer sounds headlining the bunch, all the features one could possibly want, save for Bluetooth MIDI (which can be added with a Yamaha MIDI-to-Bluetooth converter), an awesome feeling of high-end quality and just a joy to play. I thought the reputed heavier NWX action might be a problem, at least initially, this being my first weighted set of keys, but instead I took to it in just about a week, and it feels very right to me.
In summary, this purchase could not have gone any better and I am looking forward to enjoy this piano for many, many years to come.
Just wonderful
This piano is sublime. I've had a several pianos over the years, digital, acoustic, and virtual instruments. This thing is the real deal, more than anything I've played. Instant, responsive, and remarkably RESONANT. I've never leaned in to listen to rubbing notes on a digital keyboard before, but I do on this one. And portable to boot?
Yamaha really knocked it out of the park with this thing. If you're shopping for a digital piano, just... stop looking. It doesn't get much better than this
