My guitars sounded pretty good through it, but I wanted to explore more tones, so I bought the Mustang iii.April 9, 2013 Music Background: Hobbyist When first got it, I kind of gravitated to a few tones that I liked. I thought that maybe I would find half a dozen presets that I would use and the rest would be overkill. But the more I play with it, the more I'm blown away by all the presets. Some of the ones that I initially thought were no good are becoming my favorites. I've decided not to delete any of them until I've really tried them out. But the number of different tones is simply amazing. I'm currently on a quest to learn a new song a day, and the Mustang helps me match the tones of the original artists. And the Fuse software is amazing as well. Different presets are just a mouse click away. It makes practice so easy. To me, this amp is the deal of the century because it gives me a chance to try out different amps and effects without having to buy amps, pedals, or rack effects. Thanks Fender and Sweetwater!
