Great Bass! Superb fit and finish. Every appointment has been attended to. Great J Bass tones right out of the box. Very variable preamp. I need to learn all of it's abilities So much going on, but you will not be disappointed. I have had all types and this bass is a great bass for so many usable tones. It's not an Alembic or a Ken Smith but I doubt it was ever intended to be. I believe you will spend time and discover it to be your "go to" bass. I thought about price, but decided that it would be worth it compared to the options
