Mercury!
Yup, I have this one and have had it for some years, and picked it up in a fantastic deal, going from Diamond to this one. When I picked it up, Horizon didn't even exist. Anyway, everything you need is included and of course, they continually add new plug-ins to the bundle. The price has dropped drastically, as it was around 6,000 when it first came out. If you want the big on, then get this bundle.
Waves Mercury
By far the best purchase I have made for processing sound.
There are great instruments as well
WAVES Mercury Bundle is a dream even for an analogue guy
I'm a professional audio engineer who's young enough to embrace digital technology and old enough to remember recording songs to a blue four track Tascam and having to get physically active manipulating 32 faders, reaching down to barely adjust the parameters of heavy, space consuming hardware stacked on top of one another and secured to the rack mounts built into my custom, modified mixing desk that I built from scratch. However, no matter how much analogue gear I own and use regularly, I use WAVES Mercury plugins just as much if not more. So many of the digitally remodelled vintage plugins almost precisely emulate the sound of the originals by accurately imitating their "colorization" and "tonal character". I use the VEQ4 to EQ everything. It wa made to replicate the sound of a NEVE 1081 mixing console module and that it does. On kick, snare, OH's, toms guitars, bass and vocals I pretty much always have a VEQ4 (equalizer), SSL Comp, API2500 (compressor), NLS Buss (NEVE console module for adding the vintage desk's natural drive) and for certain things a CLA-76 or CLA-2A. When I'm mastering my go to limiters are the L3 UltraMaximizer and L2 which I use directly after Izotope 7's Maximizer. For tighter, fatter and cleaner lows plugins like LoAir and MaxxBass patched after a good EQ plug do the trick and sound incredible. The Kramer Tape, Aphex Vintage Exciter and the NLS Buss and Channel plugins are great for adding natural sounding tape saturation. My tracking/mixing/mastering studio, it's obvious preference for and collection of hardware and the workflow's functionality are--all together--about 85% analogue. The other 15% of digital technology infused into my hybrid system is WAVES Mercury plugins used in SONAR 8.5 Producer Edition. Worth every penny.
