Studio-standard 2-channel De-esser!
Vocal sibilance and harsh cymbals can ruin perfectly usable audio, especially in the live sound and broadcast worlds. Why take risks with your productions, when you can easily outfit your rig with a MXPRO-50 2-channel de-esser from Drawmer. Built to meet the standards of top-end recording studios, but robust enough for any live rig, the Drawmer MXPRO-50 de-esser gives you the control you need to tame everything from full-frequency hi-hat harshness to the unpleasent harmonics created by S and T vocal sounds.
The MXPRO-50 features two operating modes, Split Band de-essing and Full Band de-essing, allowing you to reduce only the sibilance and leave the main program material unaffected. A selectable range from 800Hz to 8kHz lets you pinpoint the problem frequencies. In the event that some of the frequencies above this range are affected, the MXPRO-50's Air feature enhances these overtones to accommodate for the reduction. And although the MXPRO-50 can function as two independent de-essers you can also link its channels for stereo operation.
Drawmer MXPRO-50 2-channel De-esser Features:
- 2-channel de-essing with independent or stereo operation
- 2 x function modes: Split Band and Full Band for program-appropriate processing
- 800Hz-8kHz frequency selection
- Up to 20dB of gain reduction at the selected frequency
- Air control preserves high-frequency detail
