Great antenna for internet applications
We use this microphone for remote access to ham radio stations. This is a good sounding microphone, which seems a bit better than Mackie microphone we started with. I would recommend this because it has equalization controls, volume controls and a mute that works
Good microphone for internet applications
We purchased this for using with internet remote ham radio stations. I like the fact that you can select different equalization profiles. It is easy to use and takes very little tweaking to adjust.
I would recommend this for any amateur radio operator who uses a remote station.
makes a big difference for meetings and or recording
This mic has upped my game in zoom meetings or using it for tiktok videos etc..I'm working on a video interview addition to my business as well, this will help a lot. Sounds great and even looks pretty cool!
Seamless plug-and-play with MacOS and iOS
I downloaded the Shure app for iOS on both my iPhone 11 (running iOS 14.4) and older iPad (running iPadOS 14.2). Worked perfectly with the mic, no problems with controls. I also plugged it into the USB port of my 10 year old iMac (running macOS 10.12.6) and the mic showed up in my Control Panel and worked fine with that computer. The USB port on the mic is a standard type. I tried a spare cable I had in my junk box to verify that. The mic is heavy, which I like, but I had some trouble supporting it with the boom stand I own. The Shure website has good information on mic placement for recording musicians. I chose this mic because of good previous experience with Shure products, including phono cartridges.
