The Mother Load
This amp has been an outstanding addition to the rehearsal and live shows. Great vintage Marshall sound as always! Nothing matches the sound, look and feel!
Want a better tone at lower levels from your Marshall 100?
Get an Ox attenuator, from Universal Audio, for low volume or headphone playing. It can substantially attenuate the volume, and also includes a head phones jack with volume control; fellow artisans, you can play a Marshall 100 through your headphones at any tone & level you want. My next thought was, it's pedal time!
JCM800 2203
Great Sounding Amp! Very similar to the 1959 Plexi but has a master volume to give you that great Marahall Bite at lower volume.
LOUD and Awesome
The JCM800 has a sound that just can't be duplicated. If you get the chance to play through one you will understand. And you will probably need to get your hearing checked after.
Christian Baer and the fine people at Sweetwater were awesome as always.
Tone Monster
It"s loud, it"s unruly, it"s a legend. The JCM 800 2203x delivers the goods in spades, it just has that classic rock and 80s metal crunch sound and mojo out of the box. Couldn"t be happier with it, have it paired with a 1960BX cab - get one, you won"t regret it.
Great Amp
I own one of these Re Issue 800's ( for me ) .. It's actually better than the original because of the factory installed effects loop..and el34 power tubes
This is the one!
I am so impressed with this amp. The tones and sound that this thing delivers are just incredible. I have it paired up with a Marshall 4/12 1960`s cab. The controls on this amp are very simple and could not be easier to dial in the sound you want. It is loud and takes care of business. It is an expensive amp, but if you are looking for that sound from your favorite classic rock band, this is the amp for you. It is totally worth the price. Try one out and I think you would agree!.
Worth it.
Exceedingly loud. The Master/Pre Amp allows me to dial in any guitar to near equal gain regardless of pickups/guitar etc. Very clean when clean and monster gain when wide open. Currently using 1960b cab for all the guru's tell me pushes a bit more low end. Tone stack is quite sensitive. Bottom line this amp should not disappoint.
MONSTER Marshall!!!
Best Marshall ever made. If you´re gonna buy one of theese you need definetly to hook it up to a 1960 Greenbacks cab for the best results.
Awesome British tones.
Loud and more LOUD
Sounds best when pushed hard, A little thin at practice level, but take it to the stage and crank it up and it's just wonderful. With my 1960A 4x12 cab there are Enough DB's to injure people
