No surprises here

Sure, you can buy a more expensive version -- but theses work just fine..
Like any other cable, don't abuse them
And the Rick 12, ala ROS, conjures up Roger McGuin

I've never worked with such helpful people (Dustin ). I don't care to work with any other company...period!

It does what I need with no added noise

By Frankie East from Amissville, VA on May 9, 2018

I'm using this with the mxr reverb to go to a fender hot rod deluxe on one side and a marshall dsl40 on the other. It works perfectly, and it added no noise. I now have both amps running when in bypass, and reverb in stereo when the pedal is engaged.

Solid!

At this price you might expect a Radio Shack cable. Luckily Sweetwater is here with better products and prices quickly delivered!

Sweetwater vs Musician's Friend

By Justin from Houston, TX on February 20, 2017 Music Background: Guitar & Mandolin for 9 years }{ minor luthier work 4 years

Musician's Friend seems to treat your orders like an afterthought. The customer service is usually "acceptable" with Musician's Friend, but I have started using Sweetwater Music and will be going with those guys full time. Sweetwater's customer service has been raised the bar of what I should expect from customer service; always making sure your order is correct, making sure you are happy, your delivery is timely, arrives safely, is what you were hoping for, and they send you a bag of candy with your items for good measure.

I have place near identical, simultaneous orders with Musician's Friend and Sweetwater Music twice now. Sweetwater has delivered faster both times.
The first (for an assortment of 3 packs of strings and 2 packs of picks) was placed at the same time on Friday for both websites. Sweetwater's delivery arrived the following Monday. Most of the Musician's Friend's order arrived on that Thursday with one pack of picks being back-ordered and arriving the next Thursday.
The second (a single 1/4" TRS to dual 1/4" TS 10' cable) was ordered at the same time on Monday for both websites. Sweetwater's delivery arrived that Thursday. Musician's Friend's delivery arrived the following Monday.

Pro Cord works!

By Rick from Southern California on April 19, 2015 Music Background: 50 years of guitar playing and home studio stuff just a week ago.

This is really not an easy position to fill in line. The Pro Co I bought and am using seems to have little or no signal drop. I bought this one to replace one I had for a few years. While I knew the old one had a drop I figured since I bought the highest price cable that all patch cords have a noticeable drop. I had learned to live with it. I just bought a smaller mixing board and needed to carry the stereo signal again so I bought thus one. Recommended by Matt, my sales consultant and he has hooked me up with all my wants and needs. Took special care of me on a PRS Johnny Hiland Artist Guitar that I bought from Sweetwater.
Matt is great, service is great, products have all been great. Well run team. Thanks

Great Cable

This is just what I was looking for. I thought I would have to have one custom made as I have before but this high quality pre-made cable is perfect for my applications.

Great for in-ear monitoring

By Paul from Bloomington, IN on May 24, 2017 Music Background: Pro

Great solution for somebody who uses in-ear monitoring system and needs the audio input from a headphone output source. Works like a charm. The reason I have not given this product 5 stars is type of plugs being used. They have a tendency to get loose and get unscrewed. So, every time you use it, double check the plugs (tips) on both ends of the cable. Other then that it's a great quality cable. Highly recommended.

Nice product.

By Sweetwater Customer on February 22, 2021

Nice product serving my needs. I use it for an effects loop out of my Eastwood Tiger Guitar. I woul like the TRS jack to be available in a 90° angle configuration though. Even for the two mono jacks to be available in a 90° configuration option.

Well made insert cable with many uses

By HaveMercyMissPercy from Tejas on January 19, 2016

For mid-grade cable, this is the premium insert of this type. Well made for live use, useable in a home studio.
Excellent purchase, get two!

Very Poor Connector Wiring.

By Ray B. from Castro Valley, CA on November 13, 2016

I've plugged this cable in only once per week for less than a year, and several weeks ago the signal started dropping completely from my guitar. I traced it back to this cable, and when I unscrewed the cover for the guitar end (stereo end) I found a mass of broken and jumbled strands of copper wire, which had shorted the pins. I've never seen this kind of a mess in what is supposed to be a professional production cable. It was never wired correctly in the first place, and I'm surprised it worked at all. I would include a picture but it's not possible in Sweetwater's reviews.

Odd

By Nick from Tampa, FL on June 1, 2012 Music Background: Sound Designer

I was using this to come out of my breakout panel, which has channel 1 left and channel 2 right, into my ART HeadAmp 4 which has a single TRS stereo input (why?). I got audio in the right channel but not the left unless I pulled the cable halfway out. Likely an incompatibility between the way my panel was wired and the way the cable is wired. You can never have enough cables so I'll hang on to it but it didn't really serve my purpose here. Neither did the HeadAmp but that's a different review.
