I’ve been using this exact mixer for 10 years.

By John from Muscle Shoals, Alabama on March 31, 2021 Music Background: Drums, 30+ plus years, danceable classic rock & southern rock.

Originally purchased as a drum/percussion submix, we soon found out it worked perfectly for live. Double miked kick and snare pre-fed into 2 presonus two channel mixers, left plenty for vocals, bass direct box and miked guitar cab, dumped into a 4 way monitor mix, crown 6002 xtis fed into 4 jbl vrx 915m monitors, main out to max bass bcl into jbl cabs. Sounds magnificent with the Graham designed pots....very minimal stage footprint, low CG with casters, virtually zero noise at max gain, running dbx feedback killers on back panel for monitors...old school works. This is the current rehearsal studio setup as well. Not even the slightest glitch

THIS IS IT!

I have been searching for the perfect fit to my live rig. I have tried several mixers over the years. THIS IS IT! The pre's and eq's sound fantastic. Very easy to use great I/O. I love the size it racks up great.

Perfect Club Mixer!!!

By Bob Ingram from Shreveport, LA. on February 11, 2012 Music Background: 40+ Years Pro Musician/Sound Tech

This mixer has all the right features for my needs. For a 16-channel mixer, it has everything else in its price range beat by a longshot. The only feature I would like to see would be an 80Hz low pass switch on the mono output. With Sweetwater's extra year of warranty support and 18 months interest-free financing, this is a great deal!

One of the best mixers categorically

By SIDney Howard from Metro Detroit on December 2, 2016 Music Background: 36 year music industry veteran

Five years ago I selected this mixer for my DAW-based recording and production studio specifically for it's direct outs. It offers very "clean circuitry", which is to say, it adds very little unwanted coloring. I am from the analog recording tradition but took up computer-based production back in 1983/84. The versatility of GB2R16 serves my purposes exceedingly well.

Great Analog Mixer.

Great mixer. Most output options and settings of anything out there. Looked at the mix wizard but went with this one due to the flexibility of the routing on direct out post and pre eq. Use in the studio mostly. Use this and an AH QU16.

R16

By Nick Berigan from Madison WI on January 18, 2015 Music Background: Keyboard player

Touchy gains and they seem to change without actually manipulating them. Now the power connector is flaking out causing the unit to drop power before a save is done on some recorded work. NOTHING makes me dislike a product more than having it throw work away. Says "don't open it up" but it's off warranty so I'll try. If I can fix the plug, I'll dump it and go looking for something else.
