Elixir and Sweetwater both get a ten star from me.

I have used elixir acoustic strings for years. However I recently started doing a One Man Band act and started using an electric semi hollowbody guitar. So I wanted to try there electric strings. I purchased a set of the 12-52s and had a problem with the strings breaking at the locking tuners. I wrote to them and they totally backed there product. I got another set strung them up and am pleasantly surprised. They feel great to me. They have a real smooth feeling to them. They have a great tone, not too thin sounding almost a little mellow. They stay in tune great. I will have to see how long they last. Usually with electric strings I have to change them after every show cause the oil in my skin my sweat just tears them up. If I can get a month to a month and a half out of these I will be extremely happy. I wish all companies stood behind their gear like this. If I could give them ten stars as a company I would

Great Strings

After decades of string corrosion, I switched to Elixir. I still change strings for every performance as always, but now the feel and texture of the strings are absolutely better. Love Sweetwater and Elixir for sure.

Long Lasting

These cost more than most other strings but last a long, long time. I hate changing strings so I love these because they last at least 3 times longer than anything else I've tried. Since they last 3x longer, they're really not that much more expensive than cheap strings.
