Gibson ES-335 Satin - Satin Cherry Reviews
The Gibson ES-335 Satin is the quintessential Gibson ES (Electric Spanish) guitar. The first “thinline” archtop of its kind, the historic ES-335 is considered the standard for semi-hollowbody guitars to this day. With impeccable sounds across its wide-ranging tonal palette, the ES-335 can be found in the hands of jazz, blues, and rock players all over the globe. For 2020, Gibson brings the ES-335 Satin to you with all the same exquisite craftsmanship and detailed appointments that made the original a smash hit when it was introduced in 1958. And as a central feature, it features a satisfyingly rounded "C" neck profile that harkens back to Gibson’s vaunted instruments of the late 1950s.

Bucket List Guitar
I have always wanted a 335 with satin finish, thanks to Sweetwater that became a reality! Plays like a dream, sounds amazing, and is one of the most versatile guitars I have ever played. If you are able to get your hands on one of these beauties, do not hesitate. Definitely worth the investment.
Shiny new ES-335
What a beautiful look and feel! My shiny, new Gibson ES-335 is worth every penny. It took me a little longer than expected, but since August 7th I am enjoying its superlative tone and playability. It even smells great!! At first the neck feel a little strange as I was used to the Washburn HB35 that it is replacing, as well as a Strat and Les Paul I also play. But after a few days I am really growing into its wood. Once home, I changed the stock 10s to 11-49. Much better. Great instrument, really. I must thank Sweetwater for a 'sweet' deal, and specially Mr. Edward Vigen. The man did a great job of seeing this purchase through, ever since I first asked about the guitar mid-February. I appreciate the tome, patience and diligence displayed by Edward. No wonder This company has grown so much. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!
Gypsy Red
My new ES 335 is a fantastic guitar. It is very easy to play and it has that beautifully rich tone that only comes from a Gibson. I am very proud of it.I have a Martin,a Fender Stratocaster, and a Paul Reid Smith also and I really like all of them but I like my ES 335 the best.
Cherry red Gibson 335
Pretty close to a dream guitar here. A cherry red Gibson 335! From Gibson to Sweetwater to me, it arrived almost perfectly in tune. Better value than a more expensive dot, I'm guessing. There is nothing about this guitar I don't like. The "T" pickups are pretty basic. You clearly hear a blues/jazz sound on one and more of a rock sound on the other. Simple (for a change). I really like my Fender American Performer Strat and PRS CE, but this might end up being my goto. You can say that an Epiphone is just as good at a fraction of the price... but that's your opinion. I like this one.
