This piano is everything advertised and more. I just used it for the first time in an offsite gig in a large room (away from my home studio), and was thrilled at the feedback on the sound in that space with no extra amplification. The EP3 has excellent piano sounds especially when adding in the reverb and brilliance effects. My Casio AP-620 doesn't have this degree of resonance and sustain pedal decay. Neither the Casio / Kawai can compare with the V-Piano (as it is in another class by itself) however, the Kawai does sound very good in its price range. It is also more portable than my other two pianos which is a definite plus. I am satisfied with the purchase, overall. close [-]

I am a sax guy who fills in on keyboards in a steel drum band. I bought this keyboard to take on the steel drum band gigs. I haven't used all of the features, but the various functions flow naturally from visible buttons above the keyboard. I have run the keyboard through a Peavy keyboard amp for gigs and it sounds nice. The keyboard does weigh quite a bit...a case with wheels is a necessity not a luxury. I got a good deal through Sweetwater and have absolutely no complaints after having used it at two gigs so far. High quality and a good value for the price. close [-]
