Berringer Array

By Vanessia Holland on May 18, 2023

I love the sound. It's perfect for my home.

Work great for me!

By tim from Warsaw, Ind. on November 25, 2021

I bought 2 of these, and I love them for my purpose. I watch a lot of music videos on youtube, and I've never been satisfied with small surround sound speakers. So, I ran an rca to 1/4 cable into the unbalanced jack on these speakers and hooked them up to my tv. Crystal clear, and not only does my music sound great, so do movies.

Behringer C210 Column Speaker

By bob fickling from GA on October 25, 2021

I received my speaker 7 days ago, what an amazing setup for any event you can throw. It has bottomed, and trebles sound very good at any level. Oh if you add a speaker to it, it's over...Bargain of the year, get it now!

Great deal!

I haven't used this yet for any shows but for hanging out around the fire and stuff it's awesome! I will update when I use for a show. I have a lot of good heavy gear and I'm tired of hauling it around for small shows so I bought this because it's worth bucks to give it a shot! I'm impressed so far. Not crazy amount of bass but just phone DJing and hanging out it's awesome and plenty loud. I feel like it'll do the job for what I bought it for. I think to a crowd of roughly 50-100 people it should push through the crowd well. Would be great for someone needing a pool house set up or something like that. I was iffy at first but for the money you can't beat it.

Behringer C210 Active Column Speaker

By Sweetwater Customer from MD on September 19, 2023 Music Background: 20 + YEAR BASS AND GUITAR PLAYER.

I am pretty happy with this speaker. Very portable, and sounds good. I just wish there was a reverb or echo. But I can add that. As far as loudness, you may want to add an 8 inch powered speaker on a stand. This way I can do gigs with it. I actually bought two 8 inch Behringer's, one active and one passive. I got Demos. This makes for a good system for me.

Great service from Sweetwater.

Cheers everyone.

Great portable product!

By Sweetwater Customer on December 27, 2022 Music Background: Dj

I hate to see the bashing reviews in this unit…..I purchased this lil guy for a few reasons…..first off yes you are not going to get earth shattering bass but what you will get is a super easy and portable unit that is easy to use and does the trick! I have used this unit for small 100 people or less venues that need background music and a small pa for announcements. Also have used it outdoors for a small corporate tent event along with background cocktail music, ceremony music etc. Also great to set up at home for practice rather than having monitors laying around. This is what this unit is made for! If you think you are going to knock out a huge event with this…wrong! I would not hesitate to buy another one!

Nice Nice

By Pedro Washington from Florida on May 30, 2023 Music Background: Country music and TECHNO!!

I use this for small shows (bars & restaurants) approx 100 capacity.
Just 2 microphones for 2 singers
Then I use the USB to play background music in between sets.
It is getting a solid 4 and a half stars because it serves its purpose well and, in my opinion and the opinion of musician and artist friends who come to see us, they all say it sounds good or great.

So of course I like to PUSH limits to see how far can it go. I plug a dj rig to it to test how does it handle techno …?
Well, I'm happy to say it shakes the walls of a 2 bedroom ranch house !
BUT not so fast, if the bass knob is turned up too much with volume at max then the "tweeter" in the sub woofer cabinet starts to rattle.
Which OK … fair enough HAH

If you are a professional DJ and need to melt peoples faces, then this is not enough.
BUT… it would make a kick a$$ house party system.
I mean really kick a$$ impressive for how light weight it is and how inexpensive it is.

In conclusion
I'm very happy with this and so are my people
: )

More Volume

By Andy Moore from TROY, TN on January 2, 2024 Music Background: Self-taught guitarist - classic rock

Like some of the other reviewers, the LED lights didn't work - or maybe I didn't seat the columns in far enough for that to work. I didn't want to force it down, besides i didn't buy them for the lights anyway. I had to return mine because I didn't think they would be loud enough for what I'm wanting to do. I got the Turbosound 600 watt unit instead, mostly based on the positive reviews that it has. If that impresses me, then I'll likely get a second one of those. I play classic rock as a solo act and want/need to have some headroom for loudness when needed. Paul Koehn, my Sweetwater sales guy was great through this process as usual.

Ok for practice or small venue karaoke.

By Delton Rice from jasper, TX on August 3, 2023 Music Background: 53 years old. Been playing and giging all my life. Currently Praise and Worship leader at The Master's Table Church in Brookland Tx and traveling Praise and Worship with portable rig. Not this one tho..

For the price, it makes a good solo practice rig. It does ok on medium volume karaoke. Does ok for a small venue acoustic guitar rig. Don't buy it if you are looking for solo gigin rig. It will not handle any kind of drum machine or real low end.

A few mistakes in the description.

By Sweetwater Customer on August 18, 2021

Overall this is a pretty good unit. I played some MP3s off of my SD card and messed around with the EQ settings and it sounds pretty good. However there is no mid-range EQ setting it's only two band. Just bass and treble. That's not a deal-breaker for me. After all it's a line array. You're not going to get a lot of mid-range mud anyway, and it does have the preset EQs. However there are no audio effects or delay as mentioned, and that was a deal breaker for me. I returned it. Sweetwater was very helpful. I have no complaints other than the description.

You get what you pay for. It has some features but the sound quality is very poor.

Underpowered for Vocals

By Jonathan Ruhl from Texas on December 8, 2021 Music Background: Professional Musician

I'm a professional solo artist, and have used many PA systems over the years. This was my first post style pa, and I like the mobility of this unit but that's pretty much where my satisfaction ends. Any vocal/XLR input I've used on this system is severely underpowered, and will require a separate cloud lifter or gain unit to get adequate volume out of the vocals. I also tried using an XLR-1/4" adapter to see if one of those inputs made a difference, but it didn't. Also, there is no EQ to speak of, only a few different pre-sets like pop/classical/flat etc. If you just want something to plug your phone into and play music, it's good for that.

Per usual, Sweetwater has been fantastic to deal with and this poor review shouldn't reflect on them whatsoever. But if you're a gigging musician who will need vocals in your set, don't waste your money.

No Good

By L from NC on December 11, 2023

I tried to get two of these for a stereo main setup for a Top 40/Rock cover band, they never worked correctly out of the box, neither of them. I ultimately returned both and went with a single Turbosound IP500 which I will be comparing BOTH of these to.

First off the tower pieces did easily slide into the subwoofer base connector. Completely opposite story on the Turbosound, slides in and fits like a glove. The Behringer had to be absolutely jammed in before I ever saw any LED lights for visual feedback that there was a power connection. Same thing with the speaker piece into the LED middle section. Simply placing it into the connection slot, did nothing! It had to be JAMMED down into the connector, AGAIN! Once again, the complete opposite story when it came to the TS IP500, each piece slides right in, and you're off and running with a great sound.

The second unit, was an electrical accident waiting to happen. Not only was it displaying completely odd characteristics while it was POWERED ON... when power was completely removed, unplugged from the wall, the unit still had enough juice SITTING INSIDE OF IT TO CONTINUOUSLY POWER ON THE LEDS while trying to get the tower pieces jammed into it to see if the speaker tops were even working, at all. Continuously getting powered on connection from the sub -> LED middle section. Not a good sign, at all.

The one speaker that actually got plugged in all the way, and halfway worked, did not sound good. It did not get loud, and it would not have gotten the job done even if the second speaker had been working. I was not impressed, at all. I was about to advise someone else to get these, and was very thankful I tried them myself first. I immediately purchased the TS IP500 as mentioned above, and the person I was advising went with the TS IP1000, which sounds even better and punchier than the IP500.

I really can't recommend this speaker for much of any application, there are better sounding speakers for your time and value.

Disappointing

By David Dean from Saint Joseph, MO on November 4, 2022 Music Background: Singer-Songwriter

I ordered two of these. Put them together, plugged them in, plugged in a guitar to try them out and neither one worked. Power light came on, the LCD display came on--but no sound came from the speakers when I played the guitar. The LED lightbar did not light up either.
Behringer's QC has really begun falling over the past couple of years.
I no longer recommend this brand.

Terrible design and performance. No reverb or echo, DSP button is for EQ.

By Chuck Hughes from Flagler Beach, Fl. on October 15, 2021 Music Background: lifelong full time professional musician

3 channels, but only 1 xlr input. Two of the mic inputs are 1/4 " trs, and share 1 volume control. Unit is not loud with either guitar or mic. Heavier than other entry-level vertical-array systems. No wonder all the chain stores are blowing this out at 50% off.
