A Blue Mic Tailor-Made for High-Definition Digital
With its unique look and highly versatile performance, the Bluebird has been designed to deliver the same high-quality, no-compromise audio that Blue users have come to expect. The Bluebird is a large-diaphragm cardioid condenser, utilizing Blue's renowned microphone technology and Class-A discrete circuit.

In addition to the microphone itself, the Bluebird bundle also includes the Bluebird Accessory Pak-Blue's specially designed shockmount - the BirdCage, and a metal mesh pop filter - the BirdNest. So no matter what your sound, the complete Bluebird package offers today's musician a top-notch recording experience at an outstanding price - all in one nest!

My HONEST opinion, about this mic.... by A~T from Dallas, TX, January 08, 2009 Music Background: Recording Engineer, Pro Musician
“This mic is very under priced for the sound that you get from it. A friend of mine has the Blue Bird, running it through a Presonus TUBEPre Preamp, and an M-Audio 1010LT PCI Interface.
I had to track out their session, and transfer it into Pro Tools HD. Using Mackie HR Monitors, i was amazed by how the raw recording sounded, just sounded a little flat and dull for my taste, but...” Read More

"I must say that BLUE's Bluebird is HIGHLY UNDER-PRICED! Don't be fooled, this is a great microphone that is quite versatile. On softer voices, there is excellent presence in the highs. On acoustic guitar, it picks up the full-body sound, and it's EXCELLENT on stringed instruments (violin, viola, etc). The Bluebird could easily sell for twice its current price and still be a bargain."

"I love this mic and own two personally. I love how the mic sounds. It's very full but yet nice and open without breaking up the highs. It's hard to believe that they can do that for $299.99"

"Blue's quality and sound is evident in this package. I was amazed how nicely it sounded on my guitar and vocals. It was warm but not boomy with clear, clean highs, and not too bright or edgy. Just a straight up, great mic. "
