Wonderful - For What They Are
Having had the chance to try Focal's entire line along with the other popular ANC phones from competitors I ended up with the Bathys. These things are amazing. The build quality is what you would expect from Focal and from a set of cans approaching the 1k mark. The built in DAC is actually quite solid. If you think these will be as good as MG's they won't but they are excellent compared to other ANC bluetooth headphones.

Sound is good already, I I have to break in yet. we will see. In my ears , hears pleasant sound but my Audio Technica AT_900x
sounds better but wired. My cd walkman can drive {wired} this headphone pretty good. No complain. It's all Sunjective.
Focal’s Introduction to Bluetooth experience
Having personally enjoyed and own Focal's Stellia and Utopias, this set of headphones was against a steep comparison grade. Once you've turned them on though and gotten them easily connected to your mobile device your ears will instantly detect that Focal signature sound. The headphones are significantly larger than other over ear Bluetooth headphones in their class, but the weight distribution makes them remarkably comfortable. The light-up logo is a cool touch but a bit overwhelming in a very dark room. The noise reduction, having subjected my prior listening experience to the BOSE QuietComfort line, I think Bose still comes out on top in terms of efficiency of noise reduction. However if your HOOKED ON Focal like am, the Bathys are a must have as a near reference mobile option for those of us who are constantly on the go. The battery charge up time and playback is also phenomenal toting 30 hours of Bluetooth playback, I cant remember the last time I had to charge them. Another winner from Focal, get yours today!!
Personal Taste
Now by no means am I what you'd call an expert audiophile, but with that said sound quality is something that can be heard, and with that said ears are like taste buds, you like what you like and can't explain it once you've tried something. The build quality on these are amazing unlike the headphones I use on a daily basis. Love how they look and feel. I wanted to break into something more elegant, distinct, sophisticated! My quest for a better headphone started because I didn't feel like I was hearing music at it full potential so I wanted to hear music at its best. After I had ventured into a IG headphone status audios between pro ear buds, and heard how good those sounded I figured more was to offered by other manufacturers of well know headphones, so I bought these headphones, after cleaning the ears pallet so to speak, and not using my other headphones for two days nor listening to my home or trucks audio systems finally got these In. I listen to them for six days and let other people use them when I was not to get them well past the burn in period suggested. I nor the others that used these headphones were or taking back by the sound quality. I really wanted to like these headphones. Only time I could say there were any better or that felt clear to me was in a dark room in the middle of the night with no other sounds audible. During every day life no. Sound was supper aired out and faraway sounding, I always found myself trying to turn them up. ANC was really good but not the best I've experienced sadly I felt I could hear less with the Bose ANC than these. Will continue the search for quality sound but these are just not it.
