Worked Like A Charm
I rarely rate anything at 5-stars, as most products don't simply "blow me away". But I will give a 4.5 when earned. I had purchased this drive for use with my new QSC Touchmix Pro for live recordings, and it worked flawlessly on a live gig with 18 tracks. Up and running in a jiffy. Brought the drive back to the studio, dumped the tracks into Pro Tools no problem - quick & easy. Doesn't get much simpler than this. Hopefully this drive will last a long time and earn my coveted 5-star rating. The only thing I could ask for on this product would be a longer connecting cable. The cables that come with it are too short for my uses, but still usable.
Don't Delay, go SSD
Been using this drive for just a couple days so I can't comment on longevity but I will say, I am using it for sample libraries and I can't believe I waited so long to convert them to SSD. The increase in speed (USB3.0) in loading and playback is many X. Loving the change.
Size and form factor are great and it was ready to go right out of the box. Very pleased.
