OK, so I get the whole "make the room disappear" technique with room correction EQ and processing from my days in high-end home theaters. I bought ARC with a pair of JBL LSR2328 monitors. While they... read more [+] aren't as accurate as Focals or Genelecs out of the box, I was confident that ARC can make them sound just as accurate. After I got everything hooked up and went through the minimum 12-point analysis, I was amazed at the difference. Alone the LSRs were very boomy in the upper bass and the highs were very sharp (not crisp, almost piercing). I wish I could post a picture of the measurement and correction response, it would make anyone a believer. Many props to my longtime engineer and friend Mike Baldonado (ext. 1315) for taking such good care of me. close [-]
