I ordered the case with the Black Lion Audio PG-X Rackmount Power Conditioner and it all works well. It fits my Eleven Rack and the power conditioner with space for one more unit.

I saw the Gator GR-4S after I ordered this one and saw that GR-4S has the metal framing compared to this SKB one. But I am happy with the SKB case so far.

This is the second rack case I purchased from Sweetwater. It is good fit for housing 4 Sennheiser digital wireless receiver together with power distributor and the antenna.

If you're into signal processing this is the perfect size for most gear that you need. Good luck.

I needed a shallow rack for my keyboard rig, so that the rack could sit on the arms of one of my stands. My work owns a number of these heavy SKB racks, they are incredibly durable! The rack fist on my stand, holds everything I need, and can withstand bumps and bruises along the way!

There were many sizes available and the Shallow 4U Rack Case was the perfect size for my installation. I added two Middle Atlantic Products UTR1 1U Utility Rack Shelves to this case and it was perfect for mounting all of the equipment that I need to transport and protect. The case has proven to be durable and provides the protection that I need for sensitive electronics. The service from Sweetwater was great and the shipping was very fast. I will definitely recommend them to friends.

Fantastic piece of kit, holds all my gear and really saves the old back over an ATA road case. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the system at this price. I didn't notice any significant bowing of the plastic, though I can imagine it would be an issue for larger sizes so keep that in mind if you're looking at a larger or deeper version. For something to hold synths and mixers, though, this is really the ticket.

Lightweight, solid, easy to carry... this is a great choice for my Axe III and I still have one slot available for wireless, power amp, power conditioner, etc...

This is great little case. I got 4U version and I added my power conditioner, two wireless mic receivers, and a Behringer xr12 mixer. They are all small devices so the shallow rack works very well for this. I am very happy with my purchase. It seems to be light yet very durable.

Very nice case, not cheap looking like the "G" cases are. This one is a keeper and there will be many more SKB cases in my inventory. This is why Sweetwater offers these cases in their package deals.

Got this rack for an Ableton Live rig for live shows. Works like a dream. Excellent quality easy to carry and is light weight.

I've owned other SKB, Gator shallow rack cases and this new SKB case trumps them all... absolutely fabulous...

Nice case not heavy very very lightweight easy to carry on I bought my denon dnf 300 and fit nicely in my case also and eq and dbx for powered speaker look nice I love it.

Really good, solid, rack case which fits my 2 Power Amps, and fits my needs. Nice feel to it - not too slippery feeling on the outside, and not too much protrusion. I looked into many before deciding on this one and it was the right choice. And always a smooth and friendly experience buying from Sweetwater and Jason Koons in particular.

Forget the gator roto case. I made the mistake of buying that first based on the reviews. I'm not sure how anyone kept that thing, much less gave it such great reviews. This one is WAY better. More streamlined/sleek. Better fit/finish. EXTRA BONUS - The lids actually close and seal! This one is more than worth the extra $30.

Needed a shallow rack to mount a Quilter Pro Block and power conditioner to sit on top of Mesa 2x12 cab. Rig is now complete. Been using SKB cases for 30 years with no issues. Plus sweetwater service is excellent.

Great case. Perfect size.

This rack is doing excellent service for eight channels of wireless mic receivers. 3U for receivers, 1U for wall warts and powerstrip. Wireless antennae are both at front of rack and inside rack (different receiver types). Reception for either type works fine. One rack latch slightly loose, not a functional issue, minor assembly quality knock.

Great little rack for my wireless mic receiver, line eq, and effects for my saxophone microphone rig. Functional, stylish, and compact. Now they should charge less for the shallow rack in my opinion since it is made of less material but it was still worth it.

Design good Hardware good a little more care in the manufacture relative to maybe taking just a little bit of the rough interior edges out but good quality thank you.

What a great light weight rack. Perfect for my new bass amp.

Overall I am satisfied. However, the 4 hard plastic, low profile feet caused my case to vibrate and shift while on my 4-10 bass cab. I corrected this by removing factory feet and installing taller, soft rubber feet. Works just fine now. Quiet and secure. Handles and clasps are high quality, but the case is just molded plastic. $ is kinda a reach for what it is. I do not anticipate ever having to replace it though. Should last as long as I do.

I would rate this higher, but it has one problem and I'm sure it's human error at the manufacturing site. When trying to install equipment it was quickly apparent that the rails that you screw things into were set to far apart. Getting the equipment in was not easy, but I was able to get it done. I would hope that SKB would be more careful in their measurements. Otherwise I love it!

I can't even count how many SKB cases I've owned and/or worked with over the years and I've remained loyal to their products because of their high quality.

That history and experience in mind, I was truly shocked at how far SKB has dropped their quality with this latest case I purchased.

The quality and thickness of the molded plastic is noticeably poorer and thinner than previous models. The worst thing, however, are the locks. Same design as they always have been but they have severely cheapened them, obviously to save themselves a few cents.

HORRIBLE mistake.

The locks are so bad, and so cheap, they don't even close firmly. Instead, they all flap around semi-lose and there's nothing you can do or adjust.

How this case could pass quality control is beyond me. If this is the "new" SKB, it is the last of their cases I will ever buy.

Been using the 6U shallow and the 4U deep SKB cases without any problems for about 2 years. Ordered this 4U shallow (to be able to stack them all) and returned it for a replacement. The one I received had very loose latches on it. Got the replacement a couple days later and it wasn't much better..... Loose latches (not as bad, but noticeable)... Just didn't feel like they held the lid tight....

But I decided to deal with it cause it wasn't that bad. Plus, I needed to get all my gear in and wired up before a show we had.

After dealing with it for about a year, I'm gonna trash it and switch to Gator. The latch on one of the lids opened while I was just taking it out of the car.

Maybe SKB had a bad quality control guy for a week or something....because the other cases I have are solid....

I am disappointed that Sweetwater didn't check the first one..... Or the replacement one before shipping it out...Might be a logistics thing
