Building on the success of the hugely successful Digi 002, the Digi 003 takes all the built-in functionality of its predecessor and ups the ante with redesigned preamps and superior A/D conversion, plus a jog/shuttle wheel allows for easily moving through the session timeline. The Digi 003 sports all the features that made the Digi 002 the centerpiece of countless home and project studios worldwide, but also raises the bar by packing in some very cool new specs that pros will love, too. The addition of word clock I/O allows a myriad of digital sources to by synced to the Digi 003. Plus, the Digi 003 sports a pair of headphone outputs with independent volume controls so monitoring is even more flexible than before. The preamps and A/D convertors have been revamped meaning the new Digi sounds even better than before. Rounding out the new feature set is a shuttle/jog wheel that lets you zip around your sessions with a single finger. Needless to say, the Digi 003 takes something that was great - the 002 - and makes it even better with a load of perfomance-enhancing new features.
