I unboxed the pedal to find the spring and string assembly broken. Its literally a $5 part plus shipping. I contacted the seller to let them know it was broken and I would be replacing it, but I needed more time to get the part and test it. They immediately accused me of scamming them and said to send photos of the pedal. I did and they said "it wasn't the same pedal because the carriage bolt on theirs was sticking out." It was another part I had to fix and also them admitting their pedal was broken and not in excellent shape as described. I fixed the string and spring, tightened the carriage bolt and a loose potentiometer. Only tl plug it in and find out it doesn't work. They accused me of trying to scam them again and said "send back the working pedal", which was impossible because that never existed. I contacted SW and they mediated the issue amazingly. I got a refund and I'm sure they scammed their way into getting $. Lesson learned, if you get broke stuff don't fix it,return it.
